Health Minister Pankaj Singh said in his post, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, a new health service has been started by flagging off a dental van from Maulana Azad Medical College. 6 dental vans have been launched and soon their number will be increased so that every citizen of Delhi can get the best oral health facilities.”
Features of these mobile dental clinics
These mobile dental clinics are designed in a modern way and are equipped with modern equipment. The benefit of this facility will be that now people will not need to go to the hospital for dental problems. They will be able to get treatment at home. Pankaj Singh said that these dental vans will go to different areas of Delhi, make people aware and also solve their problems.
Along with this, he also said that the government is trying to ensure that the weaker and deprived sections of the society also get the benefit of health services and for this, they are working at the grassroots level.
These facilities will be available in mobile dental clinic
Many modern facilities will be available in these mobile dental clinics. These dental vans will have all the facilities like modern dental chairs, ultrasonic scalers, portable X-ray units, diagnostic tools and sterilization units. Apart from this, the van will also have a GPS system, which will help in knowing which area the van is currently in. A team of doctors will also be present in these vans who will provide treatment.
Get dental treatment at home
This facility will be especially beneficial for those who are unable to go to the hospital for some reason. People who feel uncomfortable going to the hospital for dental treatment will now be able to get treatment in the comfort of their home. Apart from this, this service will also be useful for those who are elderly or disabled and are not able to go to the hospital.
