The Vatican has announced the cancellation of more Holy Year events as Pope Francis, 88, remains hospitalized due to a severe respiratory infection. Doctors have diagnosed him with a polymicrobial respiratory tract infection, involving multiple pathogens, and anticipate that his treatment will require an extended hospital stay. As a result, all papal audiences scheduled for the upcoming weekend have been called off.
