Alia Bhatt recently appeared on the ‘Jay Shetty Podcast’, where she shared several details about Raha Kapoor’s birth and naming. She revealed that even before Raha was born, they had chosen names for both a boy and a girl. Interestingly, it was Ranbir Kapoor’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, who suggested the name Raha, and the couple instantly loved it.
Alia said, “Both of us were very excited and had asked our entire family for name suggestions. We had names ready for both a boy and a girl. Neetu Ji suggested the name Raha, and we loved it immediately.”
Fans Speculating as Alia Keeps the Boy’s Name a Secret
During the interview, Alia Bhatt mentioned that they had finalized a boy’s name before choosing a girl’s name. However, she did not reveal the boy’s name, which has led fans to speculate that the couple might be planning for a second baby.
Alia stated, “We had chosen a boy’s name first, which I absolutely loved. It was a very cute name, but I can’t reveal it yet. Then we started thinking about a girl’s name.”
