In the all-party meeting called by the government after the Pahalgam terrorist attack, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi strongly condemned the attack and demanded strict action against Pakistan. Owaisi praised the government’s decision in which it suspended the Indus Water Treaty. Owaisi said that this is a good step, but now the question is where will we keep the water. He also said that whatever decision the central government takes, AIMIM will support it. This is not a political issue, but a question of the country’s security.
Appeal to take strict action against Pakistan
Asaduddin Owaisi said that the central government should take strict action against countries that shelter terrorist organizations. Under international law, air and naval blockade can be imposed against Pakistan under self-defense. Along with this, the sale of weapons to Pakistan can also be banned. Owaisi said that we should not hesitate to take any strict action in the war against terrorism.
Appeal to stop false propaganda against Kashmiris and Kashmiri students
Owaisi also questioned why CRPF was not deployed in Baisaran Maidan? Why did it take an hour for the army to take action? He also asked why the terrorists killed people by asking them their religion? Owaisi said that false propaganda against Kashmiris and Kashmiri students should be stopped. He strongly condemned the terrorists and said that it is extremely shameful that the terrorists took the lives of innocent people only on the basis of their religion.
Presence of prominent leaders in the all-party meeting
Many prominent leaders including Union Minister and BJP President JP Nadda, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha were present in the all-party meeting.
