Dadi Ratanmohini, whose contribution to the Brahma Kumari Sansthan was incomparable, passed away at the age of 101. She was admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad two days ago, where she was undergoing treatment. She breathed her last at 1:20 am on Tuesday. Her demise left everyone deeply saddened, and thousands of people gathered to see her for the last time. Her mortal remains were taken for the Vaikunth Yatra and she will be cremated at Shantivan.
He adopted spiritual life at the age of 13
Dadi Ratanmohini took the path of spirituality at the age of just 13 and dedicated her life to divine service. She contributed to changing the lives of millions of people during her 100-year spiritual journey. Being a founding member of the Brahma Kumari University, her contribution was extremely important. Her 101st birthday was celebrated with great pomp on March 25 last month, and just two weeks after that she passed away.
Prime Minister and President expressed condolences
The demise of Dadi Ratanmohini has sent a wave of grief not only in the religious but also in the political and social sphere. President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Home Minister Amit Shah, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, film actor Anupam Kher, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and many other prominent personalities condoled her demise.

Expressing deep condolences on the demise of Dadi Ratanmohini in his Instagram post, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote, “Dadi Ratanmohini ji’s spiritual impact was very deep. Her life will remain a beacon of guidance, wisdom and compassion. Her spirit of service and simplicity will always inspire us.” Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also tweeted, “The demise of Dadi Ratanmohini ji is an irreparable loss for the Brahma Kumari family and the entire religious world. Her life will continue to inspire us to follow the path of truth, peace and service.”
