Firecracker Factory Blast: Forensic team and SDRF team started investigation, villagers demanded strict action

Firecracker Factory Blast: On Saturday morning, a massive explosion took place in a firecracker factory near Jadoda Jat on the Muzaffarnagar- Saharanpur state highway. Many workers died in this accident. The explosion was so loud that its sound was heard in the surrounding villages as well. When the villagers reached the spot, pieces of human bodies were scattered half a kilometer away from the factory. After this incident, angry villagers blocked the road.

Controversy over the number of dead

The explosion took place at around 7 am, when work was going on in a firecracker factory called Eagle Fire Works. The villagers who reached the spot after the incident said that more than 10 workers were working in the factory. The force of the explosion was so much that the pieces of the workers’ bodies were scattered up to 500 meters. The villagers were angry at the police-administration and the fire department. They blocked the highway and also raised slogans against the police station.

Villagers’ allegations

The villagers alleged that a large amount of explosive material was kept in the factory, and all this happened with the connivance of the police and the fire department. People also raised the question that how the factory operators managed to escape even after the blast. While the villagers claimed that more than 10 workers have lost their lives in this accident, DM Manish Bansal and Deoband Police Station have confirmed the death of only three people.

Preliminary investigation and action

After getting information about the incident, DM Manish Bansal and SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan reached the spot, but the anger of the people there erupted in front of them as well. The forensic team also collected evidence from the spot for investigation. Also, SDRF team was also called from Ghaziabad. Chief Fire Officer Prabhat Singh said that the factory operators had taken permission to make only Anaar and Fuljhadi, but instead banned firecrackers were being made.

Anger and security questions

The villagers said that this incident was no less than a terrorist attack, due to which an atmosphere of fear has been created in the entire area. This incident has exposed the negligence of the security system and the administration. Anger against the police and the administration is increasing. At present, continuous updates are being given on this incident and the administration has started investigating the whole matter seriously.
