Nagpur Fire: A sudden fire broke out in an aluminium factory in Nagpur, Maharashtra, in which 5 people died and 4 people were seriously injured. The injured people have been admitted to the hospital. This incident has created panic in the entire area.
Fire broke out after explosion in factory
A massive explosion took place in an aluminium factory located in Umrer of Nagpur district, after which the factory caught fire. 9 people were badly burnt in this accident. Out of these, 3 people died on the spot, while 6 were seriously injured. The injured persons were sent to the nearest medical college for treatment, where 2 more people died. The condition of 4 injured is still said to be critical.
The sound of the explosion was heard several kilometres away
SP of Nagpur Rural, Harsh Poddar said that there was a huge explosion in the factory, after which a fire broke out. The sound of the explosion was so loud that it was heard several kilometers away. After the police received the information, the fire brigade team reached the spot and after hours of hard work, the fire was brought under control.
The fire was extinguished after several hours
According to media reports, this accident happened yesterday evening at around 7 o’clock. The fire that broke out after the explosion engulfed the factory in no time. The fire brigade had to work for several hours to extinguish the fire. At present, the investigation of the case is going on and the police have started taking action considering the seriousness of this accident.
