PM Narendra Modi on Sunday (30 March) visited the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur for the first time after becoming the Prime Minister. During this visit of PM Modi, senior RSS leader Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi reacted to his arrival and said that it was good to see PM Modi visiting the headquarters. When asked if there is any distance between RSS and PM Modi, he clarified that there is no distance between the two. Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi said that PM Modi is already doing good work and it is very good that he has come to the headquarters.
PM Modi paid tribute at Dr. Hedgewar Smriti Mandir
On Sunday, after reaching the RSS headquarters, PM Modi visited Dr. Hedgewar Smriti Mandir and paid tribute to the founders of the Sangh. During this, he praised the contribution of the Sangh and described its work as important for the country. After this, PM Modi also laid the foundation stone of Madhav Netralaya Premium Center, which is a new extension of Madhav Netralaya Eye Institute and Research Center. This building is named after RSS chief Madhavrao Golwalkar.
PM Modi praised the work of RSS
After laying the foundation stone of ‘Madhav Netralaya Premium Centre’, Prime Minister Modi said, “RSS volunteers are serving selflessly in various regions and parts of the country.” He said, “RSS is the banyan tree of India’s immortal culture and modernity, whose ideology and principle is to protect the national consciousness.” PM Modi said that the spirit of service constantly inspires RSS volunteers and never lets them get tired or stop.
PM Modi praised the service of the organizations
Prime Minister Modi also praised the ‘exemplary work’ done by RSS volunteers during the Maha Kumbh held in Prayagraj. He said that through the ‘Netra Kumbh’ initiative, RSS volunteers had helped lakhs of people. PM Modi also said that wherever service is required , RSS volunteers are always present there. During this, PM Modi recognized the contribution of the Sangh and said that they are always at the forefront in service work.
