UP News: Central force reached Bengal, crackdown on riots tightened after court’s intervention

UP News: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a strong statement on the violence happening in West Bengal. During the foundation stone laying program of development works organized at Amar Senani Raja Narpati Singh Memorial Site in Hardoi district, CM Yogi said that only sticks have an effect on rioters. He said that “laton ke bhoot baton se nahi maante” and the only solution is to control such people strictly. He claimed that before 2017, riots used to happen every second or third day in UP but now there is complete peace there because the government adopted a strict attitude.

Questions raised on Trinamool’s silence in Bengal

CM Yogi also targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and said that “Bengal is burning and the Chief Minister is silent”. He alleged that Mamata Banerjee is calling the rioters peace ambassadors and in the name of secularism, rioters are being given a free hand. Yogi Adityanath also said that the entire Murshidabad has been burning for a week but the government there is not taking any concrete steps. He called it an extreme situation of anarchy and said that it should be stopped immediately.

“If you like Bangladesh then go there” – CM Yogi
