UPI Down: The trend of digital payment has increased rapidly in the country, but technical problems are also coming up with it. On Saturday, once again a large number of people complained about the shutdown of UPI platforms like Google Pay, PhonePe and Paytm. Thousands of users on social media talked about payment failure, transaction getting stuck and problems in transfer.
NPCI told the reason was technical fault
On this matter, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) shared a post on X. It said that UPI services have been disrupted due to technical glitches. The team is working to fix it. However, as usual, no concrete answer was given this time too and NPCI dismissed it as a general technical problem.
Common people and shopkeepers are facing problems
This is not the first time that UPI service has stopped working. Users have faced similar problems many times before this. This is the third time in the last one month that UPI service has completely stopped working. People have now become completely dependent on digital payments and have almost forgotten to keep wallets or cash. In such a situation, when these services suddenly stop working, everyone from the common man to the shopkeeper faces a lot of problems.
NPCI should give a clear answer in case of repeated downtime
UPI is the most widely used payment system in the country. The shutdown of its services three times in a month raises questions on the reliability of the system. Users are constantly troubled by technical flaws and this is also affecting people’s trust in UPI. In such a situation, NPCI should give a clear and concrete answer to this so that people’s trust remains intact.
