On Thursday, Netflix and Maddock Films shared a post on Instagram and announced the OTT release date of the film. The caption read, “Hey Raje Hey. Watch the story of courage and pride that is recorded in history. Watch ‘Chhava’ from April 11 only on Netflix.” This means that now after the theater, the audience will be able to watch this film on the digital screen.
‘Chhava’ has made a great collection at the box office. The film earned ₹219.25 crores in the first week, ₹180.25 crores in the second week, ₹84.05 crores in the third week and ₹55.95 crores in the fourth week. Till Thursday, the net earnings of the film in India were ₹599.2 crores, while the worldwide collection has reached ₹804.85 crores. With this much earning, ‘Chhava’ has become one of the biggest hits of this year.
Story, cast and direction all are strong
In this film directed by Laxman Utekar, Vicky Kaushal has brought alive the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Along with Rashmika Mandana, Akshay Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, Vineet Kumar Singh and Divya Dutta also won the hearts of the audience with their strong acting. The film is based on the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The music of the film is given by A. R. Rahman, which gives more depth to its emotions.
