Life is sustained only if the heartbeat continues, but as soon as the heart stops, the person’s breath stops. Therefore, ignoring heart health is no less than a danger. The speed at which heart attack cases have increased in the last few years has worried everyone. According to doctors, before a heart attack, the body gives many signals, which if understood at the right time can save lives.
Such symptoms are seen before a heart attack
In India TV Speed News’ Wellness Weekend program, Max Hospital’s Cardiac Sciences Chairman Dr Balbir Singh said that 90 percent of patients get some indication before a heart attack. Some people feel heaviness in the chest while walking, while some complain of burping, gas and sweating after eating. Many times people ignore these symptoms thinking they are a gas problem, which can prove fatal in the future.

Every sting is not a heart attack, but it is important to understand the pain
According to Dr Balbir, it is not necessary that the pain of a heart attack always starts from the chest and goes towards the left hand. Sometimes the pain can be felt in both hands, shoulders, neck or back. Some people feel a noose-like tightness in the neck, while some feel heaviness in the upper abdomen. All these can be early signs of a heart attack. If you feel heaviness while walking and get relief as soon as you sit, then it is called angina and should not be ignored at all.
These people are at greater risk, it is important to be cautious
The doctor says that people who have a history of heart disease in their family, or who have high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol should immediately contact a doctor if they notice any unusual symptoms. With such risk factors, the risk of heart attack increases manifold. Therefore, recognizing the early symptoms of heart attack and getting timely treatment is the biggest way to save lives.
